God Is Saying To You – You’re Qualified.

Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee , and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.   This article is a continuation of my previous article – God is saying, I know you.   God is not thinking of knowing you. He knows every thing about you because He created you. He designed and shaped every aspect of your life – your strength and weakness. He knows all the problems you will face in future, He knows what you are going through presently and He knew all you went through in the past. To get more details, read my previous post: God is saying, I know you. My article today will be addressing your fears, worries and doubt. God is saying to you today, you are qualified.   I don’t care if your parents ever told you, you are good for nothing. I don’t care if your friends have given up on you. I don’t care if your teachers or lecturers doubt you. I don’t to know what you’...

Stop Waiting and Start Living

Waiting for something to happen, or for something to change. Waiting for that girlfriend, that husband, that relationship.  Waiting for the phone to ring, the question to be asked, that person to notice.  Looking ahead at the future and waiting for what’s to come.  Longing, hoping, dreaming and wishing. And while you sit around and wait, life passes you by.  Maybe you feel like one of those people stuck in the waiting place.  There may be something you have been longing for or something you have asked God for that has not yet been fulfilled. You may be so fixated on what it is that you are waiting on, that you have lost your desire for what IS - here and now.  You’ve stopped living in the moment. Jim Elliot says it like this, “Don’t let your longing kill the hunger of your living”. For many of us, our longings can kill our desire for life.  Our longings can trump our reason for being.  The waiting game turns out to be a very d...

10 Enemies of Relationship

As a counselor, I get a lot of questions about what kind of things should be taken seriously enough in dating to calling off a relationship. Of course everyone has different preferences with regard to relationships, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But preferences and deal-breakers are very different things.  Some things are just a no-go, no matter how you try to look at them.   Over time, what I have observed from my experience and some couples is that there are some qualities and characteristics that should never be looked over, no matter how many other things line up. Deceit The number one deal-breaker when it comes to any relationship is deceit.  If you can’t build a relationship on truth, then you have no relationship.  If you find yourself in a relationship in which you are lied to or continually questioning the truth, my advice to you is this: RUN! Addictions Most people think of alcohol and drugs when it comes to the deal-breaker...

God says, I Know You.

Jeremiah 1:4 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.   I want you to understand that you are not a product of mistake. God consciously created you for His own glory. The scriptures revealed that God formed, shaped, and designed you. There were specifications and patterns attached to your formation. God did not rush to form you. He planned your formation before He formed you in the belly of your mother. He consciously formed you with a specific plan and purpose of what your life should be to your generation. He had plans for your physical, emotional, spiritual, creative, and financial lifestyle. And when He was forming you into your mother’s womb, He formed you according to the pattern of the plan He proposed in His mind. Every thing in your life, either positive or negative was planned out before your formation. God is saying to you today – I knew...
