Your Heart Was Broken, But Your Future Doesn't Have to Be

Heartbreak can make you question your worth, your judgment, and even God's plan for your life. As a single believer, betrayal may leave you wondering if you will ever love or trust again. The pain is real, but it is not the end of your story. God is not intimidated by your tears or disappointed by your brokenness. Psalm 147:3 declares that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. The One who created your heart is also the One who knows how to restore it with tenderness and truth. Many people try to escape heartbreak by rushing into another relationship, hiding behind busyness, or pretending they have moved on. Unhealed pain, however, has a way of influencing future decisions.
