Restore Honor in Love

Honor is one of the strongest foundations of a healthy relationship. For singles who are dating, love should never become an excuse for disrespect, manipulation or taking each other for granted. When honor is restored, trust has room to grow and affection becomes safer to express. "Honour all men." (1 Peter 2:17, KJV)

Honor is shown in the way you speak, listen and respond during disagreements. It protects boundaries, values honesty and treats the other person's dignity as something worth guarding. Real love does not humiliate; it lifts up.

Many relationships lose their beauty when familiarity replaces appreciation. The person who once received kindness begins to receive harshness instead. Are your words making your partner feel valued or merely tolerated?

If you are single and dating, build a culture of honor before talking about marriage. Celebrate each other's strengths, correct with kindness and remain truthful even when conversations become difficult. Respect is not a reward for perfection; it is a choice that reflects Christ.

Restoring love order begins with restoring honor. When two people choose to value each other as people created in God's image, love becomes stronger, communication becomes healthier and the relationship reflects the heart of God.
