God allowed every thing that has happened to happen so that He can save you from the situation. Comfort was almost taking you away from your personal relationship with God so the comfort has to go in order for God to save you from your comfort zone. God allowed the opportunity to fail and He made sure the relationship didn’t work out because God has seen the future and He knows if he permits it – that will be a great destruction awaiting to happen.  Here you are, you are angry that what you wanted did not go through but one thing you did not know is – God withheld what you wanted from you because He has seen the future – what you wanted was destruction awaiting to happen.  Did he or she say it’s over? Did he or she call off the engagement? Did you miss that opportunity? Praise God! LOVE is not a feeling yet you can feel it. LOVE is not what people give to you, it is who you have being created to be – LOVE is you.  LOVE is not a relationship but every relationship needs LOVE for sustenance. LOVE is relational but you must define her. LOVE is not what you describe, LOVE is a lifestyle you express (LOVE is you).  LOVE is not something you search for neither is it far away from you.
